1. Introduction

This policy describes how ShareShield handles information in SSC (ShareShield Controller) (the “App”).

2. Data we collect

The App does not send personal data to our servers.

Protection settings and mask positions — stored on your device only
Logs — local log files only
No account registration, location, or contacts access

3. Network communication

Public website — hosting and page delivery as usual for any website.

Local dashboard — while the App runs, a status UI is available at http://127.0.0.1:3721 on your computer only. It is not exposed on the internet.

4. Third parties

We do not sell or share your App data with third parties.

5. Storage and deletion

Settings are stored under ~/Library/Application Support/share-shield/ (macOS). Uninstalling the App removes local data.

6. Advertising

The free Consumer edition may show third-party ads (e.g. Google AdSense) on the local dashboard. The paid Enterprise edition has no ads.

For purchases from Japan. Prices are shown on the pricing page (JPY, tax included).
